Unconditional Love.

When a dog offers you his heart
Accept it with a smile
For his love will last a lifetime -
Which is such a little while.

When a dog offers you his heart
Take it gladly and with pride
For he will be a faithful friend
Ever by your side.

A dog loves you because you're you -
Not for how you speak or what job you do
You could be short, tall, thin or fat
Or ugly as sin, he doesn't care about that.

A dog knows if you're good or bad
He can see inside your soul
When he decides you're okay
To earn your love is his main goal.

When you're sad, he'll comfort you
And kiss away each tear
You may even wake up in the morning
With a cold nose in your ear.

When eventually the time comes
And the lights in his eyes dim
A new star will shine in Heaven
In remembrance of him.

You'll gaze up at the midnight sky
And you will hear him say -
"I'm so glad you were my human
We'll meet again some day!"

So, if this poem has caused a tear to fall
That's because you love the dog who's giving you his all
Go travel on together, happily paw in glove
He's the only one who'll ever give you unconditional love.

All Dogs Go To Heaven♥

♥“Do dogs go to heaven?” my little girl said.♥
“Of course,” I replied, as I tucked her in bed.♥
♥“How could something so precious not be up above,♥
Returned to the Father on wings of your love.”♥

“Will I see ALFIE again?” she asked with a yawn.♥
“ He ’s waiting for you just as sure as the dawn,♥
To play catch with you on a soft green lawn,♥
Then rest by your side ‘til the day is gone.”♥

“Will ALFIE know who I am ‘cause I won’t look the same?♥
Will he come to me Mom when I call his name?”♥
“I know that hewill and I’ll tell you why,♥

"IT'S JUST A LOAN"

“An angel came to me one day,
A ball of fur in hand.
The angel gave the ball to me,
As we stood there in the sand.
She said to me, "It's just a loan,
For only a short time."
And she would surely return one day,
For the ball of fur wasn't mine.
I looked down at the ball of fur,
Two eyes stared back at me.
I fell in love upon that day,
As I held it close to me.
Years went by and my love grew,
As close friends we became.
I looked down at my ball of fur,
Life was never again the same.
No matter where I found myself,
My friend would be there, too.
Then one day the angel came,
I didn’t know what to do.
She said that now the time had come,
To take my friend back home.
I watched her leave with tear filled eyes,
As I remembered “It's just a loan.”

Alfie, here for a moment,
I really wish It was more,
the Lord above was telling me
He's got so much more in store.

night alfie so sorry had to have you put to sleep i couldnt re home you as you jekell and hyde you were so good to us never wanted let you go hope you in heaven with bill your rightfull owner he left you to me when he died but because of reasons like lose my boy if you not go had let you go it is so painfull i never wanted this i have fought so much but now told i have no choice have let you go you not what they say you so soft and kind no one understands sorry alfie i feel as if killed you but given no choice love you always back with bill your proper owner who left you to me please look after him bill you got him back
